And the living was easy......

"Summertime, and the living was easy....... etc etc...."
Well folks, it's been a while. I've been missing because the fashion victim has been too busy (huh) to switch the computer on for me. Anyway, I dialled up Amazon on the Raspberry and bought myself a PAWTY Keyboard and a mouse to chase when I get bored, so I'm back with you now.

As you can see, I'm getting more and more handsome (I only say that because everybody says so). This photo was taken last September on one of the fashion victim's better planned walks. He kept pointing this long thing at me. I'm a gun dog (as you know) so I kept thinking "He's pointing a gun at me!", and then legged it, as you do. He finally explained what the camera was and that made life easier for both of us! I still kept legging it though, just before he pressed the button, just to see his face! What a laugh! You should see some of the other shots.

Bonfire Night's an interesting time isn't it? Obviously, 'cos I'm a bit of a tough nut I wasn't bothered by all the whistling and banging on November 5th, but for a supposedly Pet loving society you twolegs don't seem to mind frightening the living poop out of us dumb animals. Seems odd to me. Same sort of thing happened on New Year's Eve, at midnight.

Christmas is good though, isn't it? Peace and goodwill to all men and dogs.

Actually, I can disclose that a member of the International Society of Over-Pampered and Spoiled Cocker Spaniels (of which I am the founder member and Chairdog) managed to bring the breed further into ill-repute by helping himself to the Turkey and most of the stuffing while the family were opening presents. To the dog I say, I will mention no names, but you know who you are, Jarvis! To the twolegs concerned I say remember, possessions bring misery!

And as for SNOW! Oh YES! This is the stuff! I couldn't believe my eyes, paws or nose. You can roll about in it, eat it, turn it yellow and write your name in it, and then bring it into the fashion victim's motor and let it melt all over the upholstery - superb!

So now it's February, and I'm nearly one whole year old. Watch this space!
